Sometimes I feel like believers are so fixating on the door of salvation that they never push further into what they have been truly invited into. Grace for the newcomers, of course! But eventually a redeemed son or daughter of God should move beyond the basics—stop lingering at the entrance—and deepen their relationship with their Elder Brother, stepping fully into the life He’s offered instead of staying stuck on the porch.
