Acts 26:8, "Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?"
The core of Paul's preaching of the gospel was the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. No matter who he was witnessing to or preaching to he let them know that the most important truth is that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Is this part of our testimony, our witness, our preaching and teaching?
Paul determined that his preaching would be focused on the Lord Jesus and the gospel. 1 Corinthians 2:2.
Heavenly Father, I pray that my heart and the words I speak will be saturated with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Help me to always keep in my heart and my mind that Christ died for my sins, he was buried, and that he rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. Lord, let this truth fill me completely. Amen.
