Colossians 1:10, "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"
Scripture teaches that if we are in Christ then we will grow. Growth means we will increase in the knowledge of God. We grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We cannot stand still; we must move forward with the Lord.
Father God I know I can't stand still. I can't rely on whatever experiences I had from years ago. I must continue to go forward with you. I trust in you to prune my life from hindrances, and anything that would hinder me from growing in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus. I pray I will increase in the knowledge of God. Lord, fill me with the Holy Spirit. Put in me a fervent passion for your word. In Jesus name. Amen.
