Matthew 9:24-25, "He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. 25, But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose."
Jesus demonstrated his power over death in his ministry. He raised this young girl from the dead. He is the Lord of both the dead and the living.
God proved that Jesus Christ is the Son of the God by his resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4.
Father God, I praise you this day. I thank you for the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the first born from the dead. When Christ, who is my life, shall appear, then shall I also appear with him in glory, amen.
