Description

Psalms 6:5, "For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?"

The desire to be remembered is built into the heart of man. People erect statues, monuments, and try to leave some kind of legacy to their children. They make a name for themselves so that they won't be forgotten after they are gone. But guess what? There is no one who will remember you. No one, except Jesus. Turn to the Lord Jesus right now and call on his name. He is the only one you want to remember you.

The thief on the cross cried out to Jesus and asked the Lord to remember him when he came into his kingdom. Luke 23:42-43.

Heavenly Father, it doesn't matter if anyone remembers me on this earth. It is okay if friends and family forget me after I am gone. I only want you to remember me, Lord. I want to hear you call my name, and I want to be with you where you are, Lord Jesus. Amen.
