Matthew 10:7-8, "And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8, Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."
The Lord Jesus gave his disciples the authority to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast our devils. Religious leaders today try to deny that the Lord Jesus gives his disciples this authority in the church today. Why? I think it is because they would lose their worldly power structure they have over God's people if the people of God really knew who they are in Christ.
Who gets to say what God can do today? Do not listen to people who try to put God in a box or restrict God to chronological time lines. God is free, and is not restricted by man's religious systems. John 5:39-40.
Father God, I pray for the remnant of your people who live within this shell of a religious house today. I pray that you would open their eyes to know the authority you have given to us in the name of Jesus. Lord, bring revival to your people, in Jesus name. Amen.
