Psalms 30:3, "O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit."
The Lord is the one who gives us life and who delivers our soul from going down into the pit. Christ died in our place upon the cross so that we would not be condemned with the wicked who are in the pit.
There is nothing that can save the soul of a man in heaven or earth except Jesus. There is no other way to be saved. Acts 4:12; John 14:6.
Father God, I thank you again and again for the grace and mercy you have shown through sending Jesus into this world to die in our place. Lord Jesus, thank you for taking my place, for paying the penalty for all of my sins. I am thankful and grateful for everything you have done to reconcile me to God, and to bring me to yourself in heaven. I look forward to being with you forever, Lord. Amen.
