2 Timothy 2:8, "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel"
The Bible exhorts us to remember these basic facts: Jesus Christ was the Son of David, and he was raised from the dead. This was Paul's gospel. Why is it important to know he was of the seed of David? Why do we need to remember these things?
Jesus fulfilled the prophecies that a son of David would be the king of Israel. Jesus is the King of the Jews, he is the King of Israel. He is the Jewish Messiah. Why is it so important in today's world to REMEMBER that Jesus is the JEWISH Messiah? John 4:22
Heavenly Father, protect my heart from the Satanic hatred in this world that is directed toward God's people. Help me always to remember to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the salvation of the nation of Israel. Lord, you have not forsaken the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You still have a plan for natural Israel in this world. I pray for this nation to repent and turn to the Son of David, their Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
