1 Corinthians 15:55, "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"
Jesus has defeated death through his own death, burial, and resurrection. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Those who put their faith in Jesus will not experience this sting of death and will rise up victorious over the grave.
Death has been defeated by the Lord Jesus Christ. We do not need to live in fear and bondage any more, because the devil was defeated and death has been overcome by Jesus. Hebrews 2:14-15.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the victory that we have in Jesus. Lord Jesus, I thank you for taking the sting out of death and defeating the grave. Lord, I give you all the praise today. I am thankful, Lord Jesus, that you rose from the dead and became the beginning and the firstborn from the dead, that in all things you might have the preeminence. Glory to your name, Lord. Father, thank you for including me into your plan of salvation through your son Jesus. Amen.
