The story of the week as covered by the media was of course the guilty verdict returned on the killer of George Floyd. The murder illustrated the concept of wilful blindness on so many levels and it highlighted the collaborative nature of it; it's easier to carry on doing nothing and then rationalize our inaction later when everyone else is doing nothing, as humans we take our subconscious cues from each other.
