I apologize for not introducing Brian S. Rohlman in the podcast. Brian was a great guest. He was informative, intelligent, and our conversation was wide-ranging enough that we let his ice-cream melt quite a bit during our conversation.
I encourage people in our community to reach out to him to see how they can implement a Biblical Citizenship class in their church. This isn’t about being a Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, or Independent. Those parties aren’t about being a Christian. Being a Christian transcends earthly political parties. We belong to God, yet God calls us to be transformative agents in this world working to alleviate oppression and evil. While we may be called to heaven, it doesn’t get us off the hook to do nothing here.
By sharing the gospel and seeing lives transformed, there will be a positive effect in the world. Christians are meant to serve in every capacity that this world offers, including political office. We need Christian school board members, librarians, politicians, and more. What can you do for Christ?
