When a surprise arrives in the mail and makes your day. That’s what happened to me this week and I was so pleased to receive gift from my blogging friend Denyse from Denyse Whelan Blogs.

This gift and my relationship with Denyse sent me down the thought pattern of friendships, the type of friendships we develop in life and how we can be a positive influence on those we connect with.

Receiving this thoughtful gift reminded me that:

•  a thoughtful gift (no matter the size)can make someone’s day
•  a handmade gift means so much more than the most expensive gift
• your actions can be a positive influence
• creativity activity expands our mind and reduces stress and anxiety
•  how friendships and connection can be in person, online or a hybrid of both -and why each form of connection is of value
