Hello my friends. I am jumping on here recording my voice. We're going to use AI for transcription and take full advantage of all the tools in our hands. Biggest thing right now that's on probably every Canadian's mind is prorogation and the complete lack of respect for the country from our Prime Minister in the name of he knows. I mean, the whole Liberal Party knows that Canada is in a crisis situation.
00;00;34;14 - 00;01;01;21
We are all so good at looking through rose colored glasses, myself included, and we want so badly to believe that there are ways out of here. And if we only change the leadership, then, hey, we're doing good. We're better. But I don't know if that's true. Actually, I know it's not true. I know that what we're looking at is the exact same monster with multiple different heads.
00;01;01;24 - 00;01;26;29
Truly doesn't matter who it is. That becomes the next leader of the Liberal Party who becomes the next person, hopefully sitting in that House of Commons as an MP. The biggest thing is what do we do? And I really am not certain on that. I'm trying to figure things out. The only thing I can find is, you know, contact your local MPs, call your governor in general.
00;01;26;29 - 00;01;52;15
(Well, she's in the back pocket of the prime Minister) your local MPs. I mean, we've got some great ones, we've got vocal ones, we've got a strong conservative fight, but we need our NDP leaders. Those and the MP, the we need our NDP MP leaders. Wow. That's a tongue twister. And we need every other political party as well.
00;01;52;16 - 00;02;16;23
And so this goes into a conversation that I first was like, I'm totally going to speak on this. And then it's just come on to my heart that I need to just voice a concern and then move on. Take it as you will. And that is that. Yeah. We have a large number of card carrying Conservative Party of Canada membership.
00;02;16;29 - 00;02;47;21
People who have either threatened, discussed or already move forward in canceling their CPC membership to then go and become a member of the Liberal Party. So that they can become a voting a voter in the Liberal leadership race. It sounds so great because initially we start thinking of, all right, I can help, you know, affect positive change from the inside.
00;02;47;21 - 00;03;27;20
I can be that Trojan horse in there. And if there's enough of us in there and we vote for someone who is like the lesser of all the evils, then we're going to see change. But what stopped me from really diving into this is the integrity piece. If I am to be preaching and holding on to my core values of integrity, and to be encouraging people to walk forward with integrity, to be able to bring them to that higher level of leadership within their own lives, and hopefully into every other aspect around them and outside into their communities.
00;03;27;23 - 00;03;53;23
Am I holding integrity by switching over to a different party, just so I can be a Trojan horse from the inside? Hopefully swaying a vote no. Democratically. Okay. There's issues, there's problems. Why is it that you can only be a member of one party? Well, I think integrity comes to it. Take it as you will. Make the decision that sits best with you.
00;03;53;26 - 00;04;17;11
Maybe find out. Is there something that then I'm now a member of that Liberal party. And if I were to switch over and then I want to go back to the the Conservative Party is there do I get penalized? Is there a process there? Ask those questions. Where's my money going? The money goes towards campaigning and funding all of the various staffers that are within each group.
00;04;17;11 - 00;04;44;18
I had. Somebody asked me that they just wanted to know where the donations and the money goes. The Liberal Party, interestingly enough, you can find all of this. But the really interesting thing is the Liberal Party has multiple bank accounts for fundraising, whereas our CPC party has one, just one direct fundraising account. And then the funds by way of obviously all of your proper CRA guidelines and everything, get disseminated to the appropriate places.
00;04;44;18 - 00;05;08;18
Staff is one of them. Market or marketing campaigns, I guess, is one of them, election campaigns. Definitely a big part. The elections are not cheap. So here we are. Oh, Canada, I love you so much, but you have no idea how much I actually love you, in part because I grew up during a very golden era, or at least as a kid.
00;05;08;18 - 00;05;37;05
It sure as hell felt like a golden era of Canada. It was a time where if we were traveling internationally, we found other people who were not Canadian wearing the Canada flag on their backpacks for safety. Because Canadians are treated differently when they travel. It was a time when you proudly told people where you were from, proudly told them you were from Canada and you never got there.
00;05;37;05 - 00;06;05;05
Oh, your Prime Minister is an ass, right? And trust me, when we go and travel and connect with various people from different countries by way of where we end up traveling, that's usually the very first comment. Oh, your Prime Minister is horrible. Oh, I'm sorry, are you guys okay? We have even literally been offered a place of safe haven across the border.
00;06;05;11 - 00;06;34;27
Should we ever need it. Like, that's that's the international viewpoint of this country. And it's not the citizens, it's our leadership. But then it falls back on our citizens. It falls back on the people who are passive, sitting back thinking time will reveal and things will change naturally as the pendulum swings in. Okay, fine. It will. That happens.
00;06;34;27 - 00;07;05;00
We've seen it, but what about the fact that we as citizens have a little bit of extra power, but we didn't exercise it at the right times. We seem to wait until that very moment where all of a sudden we're being begged, begged to do something, and then we do it. But it's too little, too late. What about the moment when businesses were told certain people weren't allowed inside?
00;07;05;00 - 00;07;12;10
What if the business owners said, no, I don't agree with that because that is discrimination and I am not partaking.
00;07;12;10 - 00;07;22;09
In the end, these things require brave, fearless changemakers to take a moment to say where are my core values?
00;07;22;09 - 00;07;54;13
Where does my integrity lie, and why am I not acting within those? Why am I not moving forward within the things that are the structure of who I am and what I envision the future of my world to be? And when I say world, I'm not meaning one world I'm not meaning the entire globe. I'm meaning the world to which you live in the one that you work, breathe, love your family, and raise up your babies in that world.
00;07;54;15 - 00;08;21;23
What are you dreaming it be to become? Why are we not sitting down and questioning these things and working so damn hard to make sure that we are holding them, helping them evolve and grow within safe confines, within capacities to which we can actually handle all of the changes that are coming our way. Why are we not saying, whoa, that's too fast?
00;08;21;25 - 00;08;47;13
We need to slow down a little bit here. You guys, can we sit down, sit around a table and have a conversation and connect with each other to be able to open our hearts and discuss what is going on, and even just asking what the hell is going on. And this is far beyond politics. It's just the politics are in our face.
00;08;47;13 - 00;09;22;03
Or at least they're in mind. Maybe you've successfully ignored what's going on and kudos to you if you have. But there's so much more. So much that I wish we would just get a little bit more curious and ask those questions and dig really deep into our hearts to find out, to understand, to seek someone who might have a little bit of an answer, to join groups who are connected and wanting to work towards the same goal or a similar one.
00;09;22;03 - 00;10;03;09
At the very least, why are we spending so much time becoming more and more segregated, holding ourselves back, isolating ourselves only and living within thought, group thoughts, silos, and never opening that door to the possibility of a new perspective. Why is that not there? Because I'm quite certain that if we actually allowed new perspectives in and we discussed them, rather than taking them as just the rule or complete crazy, if we actually sat down and discussed and said, why do you think that?
00;10;03;09 - 00;10;26;25
Can you teach me war? What about this? Have we ever thought about approaching it from this angle? How about we did this instead? And we work together as a group, a variety of different upbringings, backgrounds, perspectives, jobs, everything. Where would we be? I don't think we'd be where we are right now. Canada. I don't think we would be prorogued.
00;10;26;25 - 00;11;04;17
I don't think our House of Commons and their question period would be such a complete joke of soundbites and Instagram worthy posts, I think we would be actually sitting there answering the question that is asked of us from across the floor, and then we tell or not retaliating, but returning with another question to help build upon the topic and get to the root of what needs to be either addressed or improved, to be identified as the cause, or to be celebrated as the solution.
00;11;04;20 - 00;11;34;27
Why aren't we there? Why have we fallen so far backwards? If we are an advanced civilization, why are we acting like we are complete primeval idiots for lack of a better word, so afraid that someone might change our mind. So worried that someone might actually help us see a different perspective. The side that we have a blind spot to and encouraging us to say hey, that's a really good idea.
00;11;34;27 - 00;12;08;29
I wonder if we blend the two or take the good things out of my concept and the good things out of that one. What would it look like? How amazing would that be? So citizens, fellow Canadians, first, please never stop loving this country. At her heart, at the foundation of what she is, and that the upbringing of the people who remember the golden years of this country being able to travel with of Canada, flag proudly on all of their gear.
00;12;09;01 - 00;12;57;21
Start from the heart. Please step out of your silos. Start asking really good questions and start speaking with your MPs, holding them accountable. Hold your MLAs accountable. They all connect and interact in one way or another. Make sure that your leaders are the best leaders for you. And you know what? In the end, I don't really care what side you're on, what party you're holding a card for, as long as you are thinking about how to help this country become financially stable, to be able to move forward with our resources, with pride, rather than this indoctrinated hatred for oil and gas that's paying for so many things across this country.
00;12;57;24 - 00;13;28;04
But if we can move forward, also knowing that, yeah, I might actually have a little bit of a different liberal perspective than you do, and I'm a little bit more conservative over here in this section. And I really like social aspects, provided they're funded via the right avenues, not the backs of the people. If we can understand that in the end, we pick things from one aspect to another and we become this beautiful melting pot of everything.
00;13;28;04 - 00;13;57;04
And we if we could move ourselves away from that indoctrination of it is this way and no other way. What a beautiful, beautiful place we can live in and create and mold and hopefully proudly, with a strong sense of nationalism. Protect unified again as Canadians maybe unified for the first time. Depending on your perspective, what does that look like for you?
00;13;57;09 - 00;14;19;04
Tell me in the comments. Let's get a conversation here. Let's dream together. Let's get every single perspective from outside, from everything angle, walk of life and let's talk. What's it going to take and what does it look like?
Go.
Albertans - Now is the time to sign the commitment to vote YES on a referendum for Sovereignty. Without stronger boundaries around our province (and hopefully all provinces) we will continue to suffer from federal overreach.
Check out Alberta Prosperity Project and sign the commitment to vote YES.
