Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh!
Welcome to Day 23 of our BeQuranic 2025 Challenge! Alhamdulillah, we’re moving closer to the end of Surah Al-Mulk, and it’s been such a journey. Today, we’re diving into ayah 23—a beautiful reminder about gratitude and what it really means.

Let’s start by reciting the ayah together:
“Say, ‘It is He who brought you into being and gave you hearing, sight, and hearts for understanding. Little are you grateful.’”
SubhanAllah, this ayah hits deep. Let’s unpack it.
Reflecting on the Gifts
Allah is telling the Prophet ﷺ to say something profound: He’s reminding us that Allah is the one who created us. Not only that, but He also gave us hearing, sight, and understanding.
Think about these blessings for a moment:
• Hearing: It’s through this gift that we can hear the Qur’an, words of wisdom, and the voices of loved ones.
• Sight: So we can see the beauty of His creation—trees, skies, stars.
• Understanding: Our intellect, the ability to process all that we hear and see, and to make sense of it.
These are massive blessings, but how often do we take them for granted? We wake up every day and use these gifts without pausing to think, “Wow, this is from Allah.”
