Description

Last week, the UFC announced Arman Tsarukyan and Mateusz Gamrot would headline the June 25 fight card at the UFC APEX, prompting questions about the quality of the bout from a “name value” perspective.

After taking a couple days to step away from the thread and cool my Twitter fingers, I wanted to sit down and share my thoughts on the subject, both in terms of the initial tweet that set things off and the responses that followed.

I also talk about the constant dismissal of athletes and events, the cycle that creates and the impact that has, and how more matchups like this should actually be headlining these types of shows in the future.

Mondays are now for podcasting.

Fighter to Watch will be appearing on Tuesdays.

This is just a much more enjoyable way to start the week!
