As we move into the final stretch of March, something important is shifting.
Last week’s equinox and Pisces new moon opened the door, and now the energy begins to move. Mercury is finally direct, which means conversations restart, decisions get made, and situations that felt stalled start gaining traction.
After a long stretch of watery Pisces energy—Neptune, Saturn, and all the emotional processing that came with it the past several years—we’re stepping into something very different.
Fire and air.
Movement. Ideas. Action.
For many people this week may feel like that moment when you’ve been standing still for a long time and suddenly realize you can start walking again.
A Personal Observation
I’ve been noticing something interesting in my own world.
Things that had been hovering in uncertainty are suddenly shifting. People are moving homes, changing roles, stepping away from long-standing projects, or launching new ones.
Some people are even asking a deeper question right now:
Am I up for the ride that’s coming?
Because the larger world is clearly entering a period of enormous change. Systems are shifting. Structures are being challenged. The ground is moving beneath many things we once assumed were stable.
And yet, something hopeful is happening at the same time.
While some people feel overwhelmed, others are quietly beginning to build new things—community projects, creative collaborations, cultural initiatives.
Small things, perhaps.
But those microcosms matter. They ripple outward.
The Energy of the Week
Early in the week the Gemini moon brings curiosity, conversation, and the chance to reconnect with people or ideas that stalled during Mercury retrograde.
Midweek, when the moon moves into Cancer, the energy becomes more grounded. It’s a moment for building something real—almost like the old folktale of Stone Soup, where everyone contributes a little piece and suddenly there’s a feast.
By the weekend the Leo moon arrives, and the mood brightens dramatically.
Leo reminds us to play.
Art. Music. Romance. Creativity. Laughter. All the things that remind us we’re alive.
After the heaviness many people have been carrying, that spark of joy may be exactly what’s needed.
Looking Ahead
Sunday’s Virgo moon helps us reset and organize for the week ahead.
The bigger theme, though, is clear:
The wheels are beginning to turn again.
And even if we can’t control the larger currents of the world, we can choose how we participate in them.
Often the most meaningful change begins in small circles—with friends, collaborators, neighbors, and communities.
That’s where new realities start.
And this week, the momentum begins.
