Here we are in the first full week of April as I prepare this forecast for April 6, 2026. This month marks the final pass of Uranus through the sign of Taurus before it moves into Gemini for the next eight years.
Because Uranus is at such a late degree of Taurus—basically cresting the threshold—we’re not exactly wrapping up the lessons of Uranus in Taurus yet. But we are certainly feeling the effects of this closing chapter.
For each of us personally that can mean different things. Globally, though, we’ve certainly seen it reflected in the tumultuousness of finance, the rise of cryptocurrency, and the jack-in-the-box quality of things that seem tangible one day and uncertain the next.
Part of this Uranus-in-Taurus transit has also amplified those sudden urges to grab onto something material—possessions, resources, things that suddenly appear to have tremendous value. Sometimes the desire is genuine, sometimes it’s reactionary, but the impulse can feel very strong.
Taurus is, among other things, about the earth and the physical world we inhabit. As Uranus makes its final pass—and with us currently in a waning moon cycle—we may see symbolic moments of “last grabs” for things that seem necessary or materially important.
At the same time, we’re witnessing almost the opposite dynamic as well: a cavalier attitude toward resources. Enormous amounts of money flowing into things like war, while human health and well-being often seem to be treated as secondary.
It’s been a wild ride, this Uranus in Taurus.
I wish I could say Uranus in Gemini will be a breeze. It won’t be. But it will be different. The conversations will change. The focus will shift.
And while it would be lovely to believe humanity is ready to release its attachment to conflict, that may still be something we’re collectively working through.

Moon in Sagittarius
As the week opens, there’s actually a surprising sense of optimism. Sagittarius energy wants to explore—new ideas, new territory, new possibilities.
People may be excited to share thoughts, concepts, or visions they’re passionate about. It’s a good day to put ideas into the world.
However, there’s an important caveat.
With this much enthusiasm in the air, some people—especially strong air and fire personalities—may be so excited about sharing that they forget to listen. If we get caught up in storytelling or inspiration, we might miss the signals that others are sending:
“Hey… pull back a little.”“This is too much right now.”“I’d like to get a word in.”
The magic of this day happens when we balance speaking with listening.
That said, it can be a tremendous day for meeting people aligned with something you’re trying to bring forward.
Because we are still in a waning moon phase, the energy naturally supports:
* finishing things
* refining ideas already in motion
* wrapping up projects or conversations
Starting something new isn’t impossible—but it requires awareness. Read the room. Pay attention to how your ideas are received.
Conflict may arise, but conflict isn’t always negative. It can help refine ideas—if communication stays respectful.
The goal is a genuine give-and-take where everyone feels heard.
Overall, Monday can be dynamic. Maybe not everything gets completed, but a lot of ideas can move forward.
Tuesday, April 7
Similar energy, with a focus on clarity
Tuesday continues much of Monday’s energy. Around midday you may feel the urge to finalize, edit, or clarify a message that needs to be communicated.
This is also a good time to remember something simple but essential:move your body.
If you can get outside—wonderful. If not, whatever form of movement you naturally enjoy will do the trick.
Our bodies are extraordinary instruments, and they need movement to stay alive and responsive.
I remind myself of this often because I’m someone who lives mostly in my head—and, astrologically speaking, I have very little earth in my chart.
Earth energy grounds us. It reminds us to eat, move, and care for the body.
I remember a speech class I took in college. Ironically, most of the class was made up of football players who thought it would be an easy requirement.
One of the speeches stuck with me. A student explained how muscles will atrophy if they aren’t used regularly.
We were all in our twenties at the time, and it struck me so clearly: living tissue needs engagement. If it’s ignored long enough, the body simply decides it isn’t necessary.
So with the Moon in Sagittarius Monday and Tuesday—walk, dance, hike, stretch.
Give your body whatever movement feels natural.
Wednesday, April 8
Void Moon → Moon enters Capricorn
The Moon goes void of course at 5:52 a.m. When the Moon is void, it’s not making another geometric aspect to another planetary body.
In simple terms, that means we’re often less emotionally attached to outcomes.
During longer void periods it’s best to:
* finish existing tasks
* avoid launching major new ventures
* postpone important decisions if possible
But this particular void is brief.
The Moon enters Capricorn at 8:04 a.m., and the tone shifts toward practicality.
There’s also an interesting Mars-Uranus dynamic in the sky that could bring sudden opportunities or exciting possibilities.
If something unexpected appears—something that seems thrilling or unusual—enjoy exploring it.
Just don’t sign the dotted line yet.
There may be missing information or a slightly illusionary quality to the situation. Moon in Capricorn eventually demands the details:
* What’s the bottom line?
* What does this actually cost?
* How does it really work?
Dream big—but eventually nail down the reality.
Thursday, April 9
Decision-making and priorities
Thursday brings strong energy for productivity.
The challenge may simply be too many options.
Think of it like standing in front of a buffet. Everything looks delicious—but if you pile your plate with everything, you end up overwhelmed.
Instead, choose what truly matters and focus your energy there.
Friday, April 10
Momentum and completion
By Friday the energy really starts moving.
Things that have been building throughout the week can finally gain traction. You may not complete everything, but the sense of forward motion can be very satisfying.
The Moon goes void at 6:24 p.m. Eastern and enters Aquarius at 7:55 p.m.
Friday evening is wonderful for:
* connecting with friends
* networking
* stimulating conversation
* sharing ideas
If you’ve used the week well, you can step into the evening feeling like mission accomplished.
Weekend: April 11–12
Moon in Aquarius
Saturday is ideal for community connections and meaningful conversations.
Aquarius energy loves exploring ideas, shared visions, and the bigger picture.
However, by Sunday the Moon makes its final connection in a square to Uranus in Taurus.
That means something unexpected could arise.
Sometimes it’s small: a plan shifts, someone drops out, or a detail was overlooked.
Other times it’s more obvious—like planning a whole gathering only to realize the restaurant is closed that day.
So the advice for this weekend is simple:
Enjoy the conversations.Build connections.Explore ideas.
Just stay flexible.
And as the saying goes—especially this close to Easter—don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
