In a recent episode of Confident You Podcast, I had the incredible privilege of speaking with Dr. Lisa Petty—founder of Midlife Alchemy, holistic nutritionist, educator, author, and just an all-around powerhouse. She flipped the script on what midlife can mean and invited us into a new way of seeing this stage: as a time of profound transformation, self-discovery, and empowerment.
Lisa earned a PhD for her research on how midlife women experience self-care in the face of the social pressures on them to be perfect in every facet of their lives. Her new book “Forget About Having It All: The Midlife Woman’s Guide to Creating the Life you Want” is a combination of research findings and Lisa’s own story of midlife self-discovery.
