What’s the Point?: Golfer Scottie Scheffler made some intriguing comments at a press conference before this week's Open Championship in England. The comments are striking a nerve with people.

"You win it, you celebrate, get to hug my family, my sister's there, it's such an amazing moment. Then it's like, OK, what are we going to eat for dinner? Life goes on," Scheffler said. "It feels like you work your whole life to celebrate winning a tournament for like a few minutes. It only lasts a few minutes."

"We work so hard for such little moments. I'm kind of sicko; I love putting in the work, I love getting to practice, I love getting to live out my dreams. But at the end of the day, sometimes I just don't understand the point."

Epstein-gate: The fallout from AG Pam Bondi’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein document release is causing headaches for President Trump, with more Republican leaders insisting on the documents be released, including House speaker, Mike Johnson?

Brian’s take: If you’re not releasing everything, you’re hiding something. Also, the latest conspiracy theory was that Epstein was secretly working for Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu to blackmail American political and business leaders in supporting their countries efforts in the Middle East.
