Gone Too Soon: Eddie Kaufman, a 20-year-old Mid Valley graduate, died this week after a battle with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. His Roanake College teammates remember him for his “unwavering spirit and infectious smile” and described him as someone “who could instantly brighten any room.”
