New Inductees: Carlos Beltran and Andruw Jones are the latest Inductees into the Baseball Hall of Fame, as voted on by baseball writers. Beltran, then with the New York Mets, famously struck out in the bottom of the ninth inning in Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS with his team down by two and with the bases loaded.

Hall of Famer?:

This might be the worst at-bat in the history of the Mets franchise!

Beltran was also named the Mets manager in November 2019 before being implicated in the Houston Astros cheating scandal in January 2020. He never managed a game for the Mets, agreeing to part ways with the franchise.

Jones is one of the greatest center fielders in the history of the game, winning 10 Gold Gloves, but hit a paltry .254 for his career.
