Sienna Saints: Sienna and coach Gerry McNamara lost to Duke in the First Round of the NCAA tournament. The No. 16 seed led the Blue Devils by 11 points at the half, the largest half time lead a No. 16 seed has ever had against a top seed. On Tuesday, McNamara was named the next head coach at Syracuse University.
Rory’s Masters Dinner: The defending champ spared no expense on his champion’s dinner menu. This seems like a menu our friends Dan Faltyn or Jason Vesko would put together.
OSCARS vs. WBC: The World Baseball Classic was a ratings winner, beating the average of last year’s seven-game NBA Finals and giving Hollywood a run for it’s money.
F.D.T.D: Brian had to unfollow yet another wrestling podcast, “Going In Raw,” due to one of the host’s unhinged animosity toward President Donald Trump. Brian and Gary discuss the fine line of discussing politics and entertainment on podcasts.
The Machine: One of Gary’s favorite comedians, Bert Kreischer, is coming to Wilkes Barre on April 2nd.
Vinyl’s Back: Ted Gioia shared on Substack this week that vinyl music sales reached $1 billion in the US, the first time since….1983! Does Gary own a record player?
