Episode Title: Seeing Jesus for who he really is

Bible Passage: John 7:1-24 (ESV)

Episode Summary:In this episode, we explore how first impressions can be misleading—even when it comes to Jesus. Drawing from personal experience and the story of Jesus’ own brothers in John 7, we see how people often misunderstood who Jesus was, even those closest to Him. His brothers, despite witnessing His miracles, didn't fully believe in Him and saw Him only through the lens of familiarity. They encouraged Him to show off His miracles at the Feast of Booths, but Jesus remained focused on His divine mission.

We reflect on how Jesus’ true nature isn’t always what we expect. While we prefer the peaceful and forgiving Jesus, we often shy away from the Jesus who challenges us to change. This passage calls us to "judge with right judgment" and see Jesus for who He truly is—the Son of God, the Messiah who saves us. Let's explore what it means to see Jesus beyond our comfort zones, and allow Him to transform our understanding.
