Education is supposed to be an equal opportunity for the students. It’s a privilege that students are able to enjoy. The Druze students are now unable to attend any universities inside Syria. It’s completely impossible, and also, the Druze in Suwayda are under siege. They’re deprived of a stable internet system. However, before discussing the education, there are university faculties targeting the Druze students, and the Druze university students are threatened with murder.
People, I can’t say who, are listening to this podcast, and there were requests to talk about the predicament of the Druze students who used to attend the universities. I can’t say who got the requests, but there were requests to talk about the situation of the Druze students in Syria now.
Nervanah and I prepared, and today’s main topic was about the Druze students being Druze is a crime in universities now. This is one of the intentional targets of the Jolani Syrian government. Nervana herself was a university student in Syria. She shared some of her stories of being a university student as a Druze before the siege. After the siege, as she tells me on my podcast, it’s impossible for students to even attend university lectures.
If you were threatened to be murdered by your own government, the Syrian government, and the university faculty who have student information, threatening like this, what do you think?
This is from Facebook. The faculty even goes after students’ personal social media. This is all published under the consent of the Druze student whom his faculty threaten.
He is a student whose name is Jawad Wael Shalghin, a second-year dental prosthetics student. He is ranked second in the institute with a final average of 88.2%. He has every right to be promoted to the College of Dentistry.
He was expelled from the institute because he posted a funny reaction to the sectarian incitement Facebook stories of a faculty member at our institute named “Sana Maamar”.
The message the faculty wrote:
By God, you will regret it. I swear on your life, your mother will cry over you.
She was calling in her stories for the Druze, to be killed, mocking the extermination of the Druze, calling the Druze dogs and pigs, and saying that no one can stop them.
Her Facebook Response in English:
Anyway, she sent me private messages saying,
“I want to bring you from where you are and hide you. I want to make your mother cry over you.” She sent me many messages threatening to kill me, bringing up religious figures and something to wipe my dignity off the ground, and many other things that you can see in the pictures.”
The faculty has a history of threatening other students from Swayda.
She incited students from the institute where he works to kill him. He received many death threats, and there were many situations like this between this faculty and him.
There are two example
One of them was that during the year, one day she started making fun of us and mocking us. He said to her, “Why are you making fun of us? We are all Syrians.” She started making fun of the Druze even more.
The second situation was on the last day of school at the institute. It was very crowded, so he wanted to leave the institute. A hand was extended to his back and pinched him hard. When he got out, He found out the faculty was staring at him and harassing him. He knew she wanted to cause a problem, so he intentionally ignored this faculty and continued walking. It didn’t stop. She sent him her private messages, he replied to her.
The faculty’s response:
“Your reckoning with me will be severe, I swear on Salman’s life. And I will crush your mustache where it is. As you were humiliated, may God humiliate you more and more. And you will pay dearly for these words.”
Jawad wrote:
Who started the incitement? Wasn’t it you?
And he replied to her with other responses. This is my opinion, but to me, it’s apparent that it’s the faculty that provoked a student for being a certain ethnicity. It didn’t matter what kind of attitude he had. He was intentionally targeted by this faculty. Her final message to Jawad.
This time, she had a lot to say. Cursing is illegal in the civilized democracy. She’s openly curing a person because he’s a Druze.
The above faculty’s response in English:
Listen, Jawad. Once and twice you laughed at my story, and I treated you with respect. This time, there will be no respect. Since you have become under our state’s authority, I swear to God Almighty that something will happen that you won’t like. Just one small complaint can finish you(your life). Don’t mess with me, boy. Show some manners when speaking to the one who taught you and gave you value, you worthless one.
Second, whether you like it or not, you are Syrian, and this is your country.
Third, the army, the security men, and everyone who stood for what’s right are cleaner than you and your barely growing mustache.
Fourth, and most importantly: politics is not for kids. Sit down, be sensible, and pray for peace and brotherhood—that would be more honorable for you.
When the Syrian army face the Druze, they asked, “Who are you?” The Druze answered, “I’m Syrian.” The HTS, the Syrian government military, didn’t accept the word, “I’m Syrian.” They said, “What do you mean? Tell us who you are.”
When they heard I’m Druze, they instantly executed people. To the Syrian government, the word “Syrian” doesn’t work. It’s not just the wording issue, or ethnicity issue.
If you look at Jolani and his men’s footage from the previous podcast, you’ll clearly understand Jolani isn’t trying to become a democratic leader. He just deceived people.
And honestly, that’s what I had expected from you in the first place.”
Please hear what the Druze university students are facing in Syria.
This is one of the field executions against the Druze for being the Druze that the Syrian government is committing. This is only a part of what they do. Now, Jolani decided that being a Druze is a crime.
I strongly believe that October 7th and the siege by Jolani Syria are the same. Also, Hamas is coordinating with ISIS. Don’t look away. Don’t believe the murderer in the suite. The only people who appease them has profitable reasons to do so. This footage was taken between August 12nd-14th. This is what the general security of Syria is doing to the Druze in Suwayda.
August 22nd is the day many children became the victims of the chemical weapons. This must never be forgotten.
Assad used chemical weapons against civilians in Eastern Ghouta. It is claimed that thousands of people lost their lives. Do you know what Bashar al-Assad is? He’s an Alawite. He targeted Muslim children.
Today, the ISIS al-Jolani government is committing ethnic cleansing against the Druze in Suwayda.
Today, we’re discussing the collapse of the university and educational system in Suwayda. More precisely, the Druze students are targeted by university faculties and authorities, and are unable to continue studying. Since the internet is unstable, they’re unable to attend online courses offered by foreign universities.
I pray for mercy and compassion for the Druze students for the opportunity to have safer and secure educational environment.
I pray for G-d’s mercy for them.
