In 2017 a list was released by a non-partisan organization noting every news outlet and which way they leaned politically. I’m old enough to remember when news was not about politics all day long.
A few years ago, we started a free national newscast that was entitled “News that Matters”, because we felt like we were being inundated with news from DC. And now we're back there again.
I have spoken to friends who are completely tuning out of any news. They don’t want to know what’s going on in Washington. And, I don’t blame them. But not all of us have the luxury of ignoring what's going on.
You may recall, I decided in December to start to look at different news sources, commentators and information outlets. It’s also important, in my opinion anyway, to read what the people say. Reddit is a great outlet for that, as there are “subs” (think communities, pages, tabs or channels) for everything you can imagine.
