In this episode I am joined with Jo Ellen, a mix media abstract artist whose works promote body positivity and self-acceptance. We talk about her journey with breast cancer and the realisations that have come with undergoing such a battle. We tackle norms around weight and appearances as well as embracing our bodies- for how they are, because if you don’t learn to love yourself now, then when? We also talk about the problems with basing our identity on appearance and what happens when our appearance changes.
