Sam badrock is a local artist from Bright who left an abusive relationship and returned to art for expression. After the birth of her daughter she decided to leave nursing and found being an artist allowed her to be more flexible. We talk about her experience as a nurse as well as the process of her becoming an artist. We also talk about the physical benefits of doing art including the lowering of cortisol and blood pressure, and how it helped her in times of dealing with domestic violence.
We talk about flow state and the sense of space it creates, how to find it and barriers that stop you from finding that flow state.
