Description

Join us for Episode 51 as we sit down with two powerful changemakers—Angela, a former teacher turned Mojo Mentor, and Jane, a former SENCO—who both left education after facing systemic misalignment and burnout.

Angela shares her journey from classroom teaching to freelance wellbeing specialist, and the difficult decision to step away again when the system made it impossible to protect her own wellbeing, as well as that of her colleagues and students. Jane reflects on her experience battling to meet diverse learning needs, and her passionate belief that if we prioritised the environment and embraced all learning styles, “additional needs” would become a thing of the past.

We also discuss highlights and outcomes from our recent Changemaker event, key calls to action for educators and leaders, and how Mojo School’s new Educator Toolkit is supporting burnout prevention with practical, done-for-you resources—empowering teachers and schools while we work for real, systemic change.

Tune in for honest insights, practical solutions, and a vision for an education system where everyone can thrive.
