Greetings Children of God!

As I sit to share this testimony with you, my heart overflows with a deep sense of gratitude and awe for the journey God has taken me on. "The Liberated Me" is not just a title, it is a declaration of freedom, a declaration of what it means to fully trust and obey God, experiencing His promises and the abundant life He offers. In John 10:10, Jesus tells us, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” I used to wonder what that really meant—to have life to the full—until I finally let go and trusted Him completely.

When we talk about abundant life, we're not just talking about financial success or worldly achievements. Abundance is far deeper than material gain; it's about peace, rest, and a sense of security that no storm can shake. I’ve learned through my own trials that true liberation comes when we no longer worry about money, family issues, or the chaotic state of the world, but instead, place our trust in the One who holds it all together—God, our Creator and Liberator.

True Liberation Is Trusting God Fully

To experience this liberation, I had to release my grip on all the things I thought I needed to control. It meant surrendering my fear about financial struggles, letting go of the constant worry about how everything would turn out, and instead, letting the Holy Spirit take over. Isaiah 26:3 tells us, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” It’s that trust that brings real peace—the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

I know what it feels like to live under constant pressure and stress, but the truth is, that’s exactly where the enemy wants us. He wants to keep us in emotional overdrive, where our minds are consumed with what’s happening around us. But God wants us to rest. He wants us to know that He is in control, and when we fully release everything to Him, we allow real healing to begin. This is what true living feels like, what it means to live the John 10:10 way—amidst everything the enemy does to try to destroy us.

Peace in the Midst of Chaos

We are living in chaotic times, and the world is full of strife and uncertainty. But even in the midst of it all, God offers us His peace. Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” This peace is not circumstantial—it doesn't depend on everything going well in your life. It’s a deep, abiding peace that stays with you, even when everything around you seems to be falling apart.

For so long, I carried the weight of the world on my shoulders, trying to fix things on my own, but God showed me that I was never meant to carry that burden. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus invites us to rest in Him: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” This rest is available to all of us, if only we would trust Him enough to take our hands off the wheel and let Him lead.

Prayer and Meditation: The Key to Abundant Life

One of the greatest tools I’ve discovered on this journey toward liberation is the power of prayer and meditation. In moments where I felt overwhelmed by life’s demands, prayer became my refuge. In Philippians 4:6, we are told, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” When we take everything to God in prayer, we’re reminded that we don’t have to carry it alone. We’re also reminded that God is for us, working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

Meditation on God’s Word has become my daily source of strength. By focusing my mind on His promises, I can quiet the chaos around me and within me. As Psalm 1:2-3 says, “But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” When we meditate on God’s Word, we are rooted in His truth, and no storm can uproot us.

Forsaking Trust in Man, Trusting God the Liberator

If there is one thing I hope you take away from my testimony, it is this: Forsake putting your trust in man and trust in God, our Creator and Liberator. Jeremiah 17:5-8 warns us about the danger of trusting in human strength: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord... But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.” People will fail us, systems will fail us, but God never will.

Liberation comes when we let go of everything we thought we needed to control, and instead, rest in the knowledge that God is in control. We don't have to have all the answers; we just have to trust the One who does. In that trust, we find peace. In that trust, we find healing. In that trust, we find the abundant life Jesus promised us.

The Liberated Me

This is the liberated me, free from fear, free from worry, free from striving. My prayer for you is that you will experience this same liberation. That you will come to know the peace of God that guards your heart and mind, and that you will learn to trust Him fully. Let the Holy Spirit lead you into all truth, and let His peace dwell richly in your heart.

If you’re ready to experience the abundant life, it begins with trust. Trust in God, and let Him liberate you from the worries of this world. He is our Liberator, and in Him, we find true freedom.
