Hello sunshine,
I am curious about what inspires you most. Is there a dream you always held for “someday” when it is the right time. Or maybe there is a new passion you just discovered. You want to explore how to live more fully with it alongside your day to day living. So, back to my curiosity…do you believe you can achieve these dreams? Do you see glimmers of hope in yourself, but not quite sure how to fully realize it?
I learned from my own life experiences, that the difference between making a dream real and being just out of reach is one factor.
Belief.
The kind of belief in yourself that is more than a phrase or mantra written down in your journal. This kind of belief is what is woven into your whole being. And your inner guide speaks the language of belief too. It is just that sometimes we drift off our journey, because we are not clear or aligned with the belief that makes us fully present in the dream. Present enough to move mountains.
How to see where your belief already lives
This week, I am really inspired to share how you can see that belief in yourself. This dream you hold, is only a moment away from stepping onto your path.
If you have been waiting to feel ready before you believe in yourself, I want to offer you a gentler way in. Belief does not begin with the feeling. It begins with seeing.
You do not have to create belief out of nothing. The evidence is already there, somewhere in your life. A time you showed up when it would have been easier not to. Something you made, or started, or kept going long after the excitement wore off. A small risk you took on your own behalf. Proof that some part of you already believes, even if quietly.
That is where you start. Not with the whole dream in full rainbow color, but with the one piece of evidence you can already see. Once you can see it, you have something real to stand on. And from there, you find the one thing to focus on each day, and you build forward.
Your Conscious Wayfarer practice this week
Here is how we put it into practice, in two parts. First we gather the evidence. Then we build on it. .Keep a running list, on a page in your journal or in a note on your phone, somewhere you can return to all week.
The belief practice explained
1 • Begin by seeing it
Look back over this past year and gather the proof. Where did you already act like someone who believes? The time you started before you felt ready. The thing you kept returning to. The small, unglamorous choices no one applauded. Write them down. This is your evidence, and it is far more honest than any passing feeling.
Where can I already see proof that I believe in my dream, even a little?
2 • Then build toward it
Once you can see where your belief already lives, you have a place to stand. From there, each day, choose one small action your believing self would take. Do it, and let yourself notice that you did. Add it to the list. Day by day, you stop waiting to believe and start building the proof that you already do.
What is the one thing I can focus on today that builds toward my dream?
By the end of the week you will be holding two things. A record of the belief that was already there, and a record of the belief you are building forward. That is a dream taking shape, one honest day at a time.

My #jenmoments for you
I photographed this image at my sister’s first hosted equestrian event a few weeks ago. The buttercups were in full bloom for June. They are such a childhood reminder for me, of carefree days wandering the woods behind my house and running through the fields on my grandparents’ farm. Buttercups meant school was out for summer too!
When I was reviewing my photographs from the day, I first thought to myself, darn they aren’t really in focus in the “right spot.” But actually, they are perfectly imperfect in this #jenmoment sunshine. The place we focus first is where the belief begins.
When belief in yourself feels out of reach, find the one spot to focus on at a time.
Real life belief, real dreams do come true
I want to leave you with a real life example of how belief shows up. For most of my life I have had a front row seat to witness a special person who lives her passions and dreams fully.
My amazing sister, Debbie.
These days, she is a dream weaver too. After decades of paramedic service to her community in Maryland, she stepped into a new journey wholly focused on her lifelong dream of owning an equestrian center. And not just any equestrian center. She envisioned one that was highly approachable for children and adults of all levels and abilities. And affordable too.
Day by day for several years she built that pathway to ownership, the pathway to her dream. And this past year it has been fully manifested through her own equestrian business. She didn’t just stop at her own dream. She is spreading her joy for horse riding along with lessons on goal setting, commitment to horse care, and responsibility of farm work.
She did all of this without waiting for perfect conditions or perfect resources. She simply kept showing up, kept teaching, kept pouring her knowledge and her joy into every rider who walked through her gate. The world she creates for riders is open and accessible because that is how she was inspired so many years ago.
She is what belief looks like when you watch it up close. Not loud. Not certain of everything all at once. Just focused, fully, on the one thing in front of her that day. And every day she shows up is one more piece of evidence that the dream was worth believing in.
Now look at the buttercups again. A camera can only truly hold one point in focus. Try to keep the whole field sharp and everything turns soft. And notice where the clear bloom actually landed. Not in the center. Not where you would expect to look. It came through somewhere off to the side, in a spot you might have overlooked entirely.
That is how belief tends to work. The proof that you believe is rarely waiting in the obvious place. It is tucked somewhere quieter, in a moment you almost did not count. Your work is not to force the whole field into focus. It is to find the one belief bloom in your life that is already clear, and start there.
Infinite gratitude, belief blooms in you
I am so glad you are here, sunshine. Whether your belief feels close today or far out of reach, you belong here, exactly as you are, in whatever focus you can find.
Shall we keep building this, one belief bloom at a time, as the conscious wayfarers, together?
Yes, yes we shall.
With love we shine,
