How To Get The Speaking Gifts?
If you have not read the previous Church & Leaders articles, you need to in order to know where all the following is biblically documented:
* All spiritual leaders (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) were first recognized as qualified elders, also called overseers.
* God gave the initial speaking gift (teaching), to men only when they were first biblically qualified to be an elder/overseer.
* There are two general kinds of gifts - serving gifts, which all Believers receive upon salvation and speaking gifts, which all spiritual leaders first receive when becoming an elder/overseer, a spiritual leader.
* There are 5 spiritual leadership speaking gifts - apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher.
* The NT missionary model was dramatically different then man’s modern day missionary organizational models.
