God's Civil Mandate ~ Is That Possible?
We looked previously in depth at God's Civil Mandate ~ Jesus's Great Commission. And in itwe saw we could accurately translate the Greek with words that give a clearer understanding, especially identifying the pronouns. It then read as follows (Mat. 28:18-20):
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority and power in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and teach all nations, overwhelming nations in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching nations to obey all I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the very end of the age!’"
To practically go and teach any nation, which by definition is civil government, and to obey all that Jesus has commanded may seem impossible. But Jesus said...
