Man’s Freewill & God’s Election Harmonized
It's amazing how some get so lost in misunderstanding God's sovereignty regarding predestination and election when right in the middle of some of the strongest Scripture on God's sovereignty, God emphatically declares YOUR freewill to confess and believe!
In these verses I have put in bold how clear it is that God determines if He will save us based on our response to Him...
However, the Bible does teach that God chooses those who will be saved. Therefore, how can it be up to every individual to be saved if they have freewill to believe or reject Christ?
The Bible clearly teaches both - man has freewill to believe or reject Christ and God chooses those who will be saved. On the surface that seems contradictory, impossible for both to be right... But here is how they harmonize...
