In this episode, MJ talks about the beginning. John 1:1 tells us that, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” If you've ever picked up the Bible, I’m sure these words sound familiar—they echo those in Genesis 1:1: 'In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.' Before anything existed, there was God, and everything came into being through Him.
As MJ studies the parallels between these beginnings in the first books of the Old and New Testament, she enlightens us to the truth that Jesus gives us an access to a new beginning in our own lives.
Where sin brought darkness, Jesus comes to bring light in the hearts of men, resulting in new life.
