This week on After the Gig, I have producer, engineer, and pianist Sam Kassirer. Sam headed out on the road with singer/songwriter Josh Ritter the second he stepped out of New York University and he has been playing and creating with Josh ever since. Sam has a beautiful studio up in the woods of Maine that I have had the pleasure of recording in. Sam is all about the vibe and getting the authenticity out of a performance, and I am particularly drawn to his production style. I really enjoyed this conversation and hope you do too!
