Kamala Harris loves to talk about what can be — “unburdened by what has been.” This explains the way that progressives often think about progress - anything new is seen as good. At the same time, conservatives / Christians can often fall into the opposite trap: anything ‘traditional’ is good. How can we, as Christians, think about progress?
