This week we sit down with Paul Bauman who has been involved for 30+ years in the professional audio and globe touring industry, holding key positions at leading international concert sound rental firms and respected loud speaker system manufacturers. He's currently the Director of Engineering at Firehouse Productions. He started off his sound career in Hamilton, ON with a BSC in Physics at McMaster University. After completing a masters at U of Waterloo he moved over to Europe at University of Technology in Sweden then working in the field and living in Paris and then in Maryland as he was drawn back and forth between Europe and the States, with the States winning him in the end. We talk his early days, living around the world, his involvement in the NBA Restart and how the industry has adapted in the face of adversity.
