I write to you with a heart that is simultaneously full of grief and gratitude. Currently, I’m in Athens, Greece on a 6-week spiritual pilgrimage. The week before my scheduled departure, I witnessed massive devastation and destruction in Asheville, North Carolina, where I lived for seven years, as the result of severe flooding.
This wasn’t the first time I experienced a flood. In 2008, I lost nearly everything I owned over a period of five hours. After being rescued by firefighters, and swimming through chest-deep waters, I began to question all I had ever known. Meditation became my saving grace. Instead of habitually looking outside of myself - as we are conditioned to do - I looked within.
In this week’s episode of the Soul Sovereignty & Sexuality Podcast, I tackle some difficult questions:
* Historically, did our separation from the earth create destruction, or did we separate from the earth because of the destruction we experienced?
* Moving forward, how do we create harmony with the elements both within and without?
* What is necessary to transmute our survival wounds and fears so that we can co-create new realities on this planet?
Embodied spirituality requires us to bring the light of our soul into the darkness, into difficulty, into our daily, lived experiences. We honor our humanity in its fullness, and we honor our divinity in its fullness.
When your survival fears are brought to the surface - be it through catastrophic events or daily occurrences - you have the power to transmute them with your light, your love, your divinity.
Your heart is your largest electromagnetic field. It has the capacity to shift your nervous system into a higher frequency and vibration.
