An unexpected rewiring project upended my packing strategy. I had to reorganize the attic, shifting around the boxes I keep stashed away up there -- a collection of ghosts, mostly. Spending time with them leaves me wistful about some of the choices I’ve made but there are no regrets hidden in the cobwebbed eaves.
That's not to say I haven’t done things I’m not proud of. As I head to the airport, I leave you with a story and a poem about revisiting my past and rewiring myself to embark on the next phase of my life.
