Description

A wonderful conversation on my podcast today with Eoghan Roe from Claremorris, Co. Mayo in the West of Ireland. Eoghan is a teacher, fitness coach and breathwork facilitator in training. He founded Run, Walk, Talk which is a free social event aimed at combating loneliness by bringing people together. Eoghan shared how even though he is only 28, he had found himself feeling isolated from others in the past and struggled with a sense of connection. He realised the importance of connection to our overall well-being. He feels there is a real need for authentic connection in our communities and being able to communicate in a safe and supportive space. Stepping into the unknown can be uncomfortable, but once you do, you realise you have the courage to do new things - exactly what Eoghan did when he created his first event a few months ago. Eoghan has learned through breathwork training that he can anchor himself into the present moment and honour his emotions without getting stuck in them which showed up as tension in his body. He has a deep passion for deepening his connection to himself and others through the practise, and offering support to others in the future. Join Eoghan in his next RUN, WALK, TALK event: Sunday - 22nd June at 9.30am in The Land of the Giants, Claremorris. Everyone is welcome.
