昨日は、家族と、七輪で焼き肉をしました。
天気がよかったので、外で食べるのが気持ちよかったです。
毎年、春と夏には何度かやっているのですが、今年は昨日が初めてでした。
炭に火をつけるのは、弟とチャールズの担当です😊
いとこの子供が遊びに来ていたので、7人でわいわい食べました。
ただ焼くだけなのに、七輪で焼くと、とってもおいしい。
久しぶりだったので、さらにおいしく感じたのかもしれません。
デザートには、バナナを焼きました。
バナナを皮ごとあみの上で焼きます。
昨日はバナナにチョコレートをのせましたが、シナモンパウダーをかけるとさらにおいしいそうです。
熱々の焼きチョコバナナ、おいしかったですよ。
3本焼いたのですが、ほとんど私が食べてしまいました😝
七輪では、肉や野菜の他に、魚介類も焼いて食べます。
私は、イカを焼いて食べるのが好きです。
次回やるときは、焼き鳥もやってみよう！という話になりました。
あと今年は、家族でキャンプの予定も立てています。
アウトドア好きの弟に、連れていってもらう計画です😏

Hi everyone, how are you?
Yesterday, we held a “shichirin” barbecue with my family. (Translator’s note: A shichirin is a small Japanese charcoal grill.)
The weather was good, so it felt nice to eat outside.
We do barbecues several times each year in spring and summer, but this was our first barbecue this year.
My brother and Charles were in charge of lighting the charcoal. 😊
My cousin’s son also came over, so the seven of us ate while having a lot of good fun.
All we did was grill the food, but it tastes so good when you grill it with a shichirin.
It had been a while since our last barbecue, so maybe that’s why the food tasted even more delicious.
For dessert, we grilled bananas.
You grill the bananas on the gridiron without removing their peels.
Yesterday, we put chocolate on the bananas. However, I hear that they taste even better if you also add cinnamon powder.
The piping-hot grilled bananas were delicious.
We grilled 3 of them, but I ate almost all of them myself 😝
In addition to meat and vegetables, you also can grill seafood on a shichirin.
I like to grill and eat squid.
We talked about trying to make yakitori for our next barbecue.
Our family is also planning a camping trip this year.
The plan is to have my brother, who likes the outdoors, to take us with him😏
