Aiden came to Australia in 2005 on a full-fee scholarship to earn a PhD in a health-related field. He was at the peak of his career, contributing to global health projects like the Global Blindness Prevention Program. Aiden thought Australia would take him higher — but instead, the system stripped away the Skilled from his migrant status. Aiden’s profession, career, and everything he had built were taken from him.
It took Aiden 15 years to reclaim what he had lost — not just his skills, but his sense of worth and identity. Now, Aiden is here to share what he has learnt so other Skilled Migrants don't have to wait 15 years to thrive again — they can do it in just 6 months.
