Zulma Williams was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, before immigrating to the United States at the age of 31. At 42, she began her Bachelor of Social Work program, graduating in 2011. Just two months later, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, an experience that profoundly shaped her journey. After undergoing a lumpectomy and spending three years back in Argentina, Zulma returned to the U.S. in 2015 to pursue her Master of Social Work, becoming fully licensed in 2018.
As the founder of Dragonfly Therapy Services, Zulma specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression. Having survived cancer, abusive relationships, depression, and suicidal ideation, she embodies resilience and strength. She never saw herself as a victim, and through her work and story, she inspires others to recognize and honor their own internal hero.
Zulma’s mission beautifully aligns with the heart of this podcast—reminding us that healing, growth, and awakening are always possible, even in the face of life’s greatest challenges.
