Description

Welcome to TRINE Issue 006!

Through all the trials, tribulations and stress. In the midst of a global pandemic, a climate emergency and with white supremacy continuously trying to tear us down we made it into the second half of 2021.

Never forget that have been so many that were not so fortunate, as well as some that lost everything.

For this reason July’s meditation (found at the top of the page as per usual) focuses on gratitude. For every obstacle, inconvenience and painful experience that we’ve had to endure the universe has sent us the people, objects and experiences we need to feel joy.

When we are grateful for what we have the path to what we want becomes clearer.

Sending you love, light and abundance,

Shasti

July’s Key Astrological Transits

Thursday 1st July ~ Mars opposes Saturn Retrograde (Rx) (Leo - Aquarius 12 degrees)

Mars and Saturn last made a conjunction (which has the same energy as a new moon) at end of March 2020 and this is the first time they are in opposition (presenting a similar sense of completion as a full moon). This aspect will give us a fuller understanding of the events that occurred around that moment. Saturn the planet of constrictions and restraints opposes Mars, a natural rule breaker - but even more so when residing in Leo! There is an obstacle to be faced that will slow us down. Aquarius is a gifted observer and while in Saturn requires us to emotionally detach from the situation as we can only overcome it by being strategic and observant. These two planets will tease out what we need to pay attention to.

Saturday 3rd July ~ Mars square Uranus (Leo - Taurus 14 degrees)

Picking up from Mars’s opposition with Saturn earlier in the week. Mars, planet of heat, charge and friction performs it signature move - a square. In this particular  instance with Uranus, the planet associated with experimentation and breakthrough. Something may be about to blow up in your face, which although bound to be stressful is possibly the disruptive and audacious breakthrough you need.

Monday 5th July ~ Sun sextile Uranus (Cancer - Taurus 14 degrees)

This harmonious aspect between this highly compatible water and earth sign combo makes this an exceptional day for generating new ideas. The Cancer sun favours projects that care, feel, heal and nurture while Uranus lounging in the bull pen wants to innovate with resources that are already at our disposal with the aim of creating stability. Combining the two will produce magical results. Sudden good news may also come your way.

Tuesday 6th July ~ Mercury square Neptune Rx (Gemini - Pisces 23 degrees)

This is not a good day to make major decisions or sign any contracts as dreamy Neptune will cloud your thinking, making you miss important details. Break down any large projects into smaller parts and go over each one with a fine tooth comb.

Thursday 8th July ~ Venus square Uranus (Leo - Taurus 14 degrees)

Venus in extravagant Leo square a Taurean Uranus could see an unexpected business expense or dip in profits. If a long standing business relationship has soured this could be the day everything comes to a head.

Friday 9th July ~ New Moon in Cancer (18 degrees)

A New Moon in planet’s home sign of Cancer is undeniable in its power, but especially when it is being nurtured by a Cancer Sun. It asks us to manifest nourishment (for both others and ourselves) and create a sanctuary to cleanse ourselves of any residual emotional energy we may have absorbed from others before heading into the new lunar cycle. This New Moon will bring happy surprises in the weeks ahead due Uranus’s positive vibration to it and the Sun.

Sunday 11th July ~ Mercury enters Cancer

Mercury in Cancer asks us to listen as much (if not more so!) then we speak. Be sure to communicate with sensitivity and tap into your intuition. Remember 70-93% of all communication is non verbal meaning that body language, facial expressions and hand gestures can either support or contradict our messages. As Cancer embodies the very waters of creation, communication strategies that respect those that walked the path before us will do well during this transit.

Monday 12 July ~ Mercury trine Jupiter Rx (Cancer - Pisces 1 degree)

This is a wonderful day to give a pitch, sign a contact or negotiate a deal. This favourable trine with Jupiter (still residing in its home sign of Pisces) will ensure that actions taken on this day cultivate abundance. Additionally if COVID restrictions allow taking a trip to a location with a body of water will help you find the clarity you have been craving.

Thursday 15th July ~ Sun trine Neptune Rx (Cancer - Pisces 23 degrees)

This dreamy watery aspect between the Sun and Neptune encourages us to find beauty and inspiration in the places that others fail to see. What you create under this aspect could be the start of bountiful body of work.

Saturday 17th July ~ Sun opposes Pluto Rx (Cancer - Capricorn 26 degrees)

Pluto is the planet of hidden wealth, resources and influential people. This opposition could place pressure on you to submit to an influential person’s demands without room for negotiation. Capricorn’s hard headed nature and tendency to focus on the bottom line will mean that VIPs will be unswayed by a debate that tugs at the heart strings. Factual statistics and projected increased profit margins will yield the most positive outcome in any negotiations undertaken today.

Tuesday 20th July ~ Mercury sextile Uranus (Cancer - Taurus 14 degrees)

Another beautiful aspect between this winning water and earth combo. You are encouraged to share your most innovative ideas with a person that you trust and admire. By working collaboratively you will combine vision with practicality and polish the project so that it is ready to pitch to an influential person.

Thursday 22nd July ~ Sun enters Leo and Venus opposes Jupiter Rx (Virgo - Pisces 1 degree)

Returning home to its natural ruler Leo, the Sun reclines on its throne and slips on its crown. Leo season instills confidence, eminence and heart in all of us demanding that we burn bright while gloriously and lavishly celebrating ourselves. Channeling our charm and charisma is essential during Leo season, as it will be our personality that becomes the vehicle to accomplishing our goals. Today’s opposition between Venus and Jupiter makes concentration both a difficulty and a bore. Keep your schedule light and celebrate what you contribute to the world.

Friday 23rd July ~ Full Moon in Aquarius (1 degree)

Full moons ask us to focus on the the person, place or thing that is right in front of us and brings with them a culmination of sorts. A Full Moon in Aquarius brings out our need to find logical conclusions to events where we were denied emotional closure. Learning, communicating and understanding is key with this moon as it is only by zeroing in on the root of the problem that we can innovate and disrupt in a way that finds solutions. When the moon is in Aquarius there is a tendency to overlook your personal feelings to achieve a system that works for everyone. Remember that your emotional intelligence and experience is worth just as much as cold hard intellect.

Sunday 25th July ~ Mercury opposes Pluto Rx (Cancer - Capricorn 25 degrees)

Intense due diligence and concentration will be necessary when assessing financial and business matters. It is important not to let others attempt to influence your conclusions but base them on facts and figures.

Tuesday 27th July ~ Mercury enters Leo

Mercury in Leo calls upon us to communicate with flourish. Dramatic and illuminating, you are being asked to first set the scene so that your audience is not only engaged but sitting on the edge of their seats. Consider who the best person or what the best method is to deliver communications in a way that generates the most applause. As Leo loves to celebrate itself this is also the moment to communicate what makes you special to the world.

Wednesday 28th July ~ Jupiter Rx enters Aquarius

Jupiter was previously residing in Aquarius from December 19th 2020 until May 13th 2021 when it entered Pisces (one of its home signs). Jupiter in Aquarius wants us to create abundance through expansive ideas and challenging systems that are not equitable. We will most likely see a continuation of the collective conversations and movements that permeated our existence during the planet’s previous transit in Aquarius. Jupiter will remain in Aquarius until December 29th after which it will not return until April 2032.

Thursday 29th July ~ Mars enters Virgo

Mars in Virgo encourages us to be courageous in our critiques, even if they are of ourselves. It is only through identifying what is not working that we are able to find and build solutions. By being discerning and thoughtful we are encouraged to perfect the skills that we need to successfully steer our life’s direction.

~Rest~
