Description

This week on Worth the Weight, Sarah and I officially close the book on And Just Like That—and just like that, it’s (supposedly) the series finale. Was it rushed? Absolutely. Did I like it anyway? Shockingly, yes. From Carrie’s “party of one” moment (complete with a tomato doll date, because sure) to Miranda’s pre-rejection spiral to Seema realizing maybe marriage was never her dream but a program she downloaded as a little girl, we dive into the messy, layered truths that women our age actually live.

We get into Charlotte’s relentless optimism, Steve’s “is she pretty?” nonsense, Lisa’s temptation subplot, and the real question at the heart of it all: do we want love, or do we just want to feel chosen? Plus, Miranda and Joy had me verklempt in the ER, Harry and Charlotte are still bickering about sex drives, and yes—Shoo the cat finally escaped the closet.

Was this the finale we deserved? Maybe not. But like Carrie in her kitchen, karaoke mic in hand, sometimes you just have to savor the pie and the moment.
