Description

First, here is a link to our conversation with former WHO TV political director Dave Price. He recently left his position with the station - not an uncommon occurrence for a popular TV personality in a market the size of Des Moines. Rather than leave for a job in a larger metro area, Price is opting to stay in Iowa. We’ll find out what he’s thinking about and get his take on his new column with the Iowa Writers’ Collaborative. Here is your link for today (starting at noon central time):

SUZANNA DE BACA

Today's podcast post above is from our conversation with Suzanna de Baca, President of Business Publications. Suzanna is also hitting her stride with the Iowa Writers’ Collaborative as a columnist and poet. How do the two blend together? What are the issues facing businesses in the metro area? Take a listen.

Julie Gammack's Iowa Potluck is a reader-supported publication. Paid subscribers fund scholarships to the Okoboji Writers’ Retreat and are invited to a holiday party.

IOWA WRITERS’ COLLABORATIVE

Other members of the Iowa Writers’ Collaborative will be participating in the December 7 event for paid subscribers, so you do not have to be paid here, if you already are else where. That said, if you can spare the coins, we are making a difference in the lives of emerging writers.

The next time you’re in a social setting, how about asking folks if they know about the Iowa Writers’ Collaborative? Then, send them a link to this Roundup column so they can sample our columnists. That’s how we grow.
