I used to move every few years when I was in my twenties and thirties. But up until last year, I hadn’t moved in about 13 years. I was due for a new level of expansion.
Last year my whole world transformed when I moved and since then my whole life has up-leveled on every measure. My health, my love life, my car, almost every piece of furniture in my home, my actual home and most recently my circle of friends and influence.
This time last year I was in a completely different reality & trajectory. I don’t even recognize my life. The catalyst of change and growth started with change itself. Strategic shifts informed by Feng Shui. I rearranged and replaced almost everything in my former home and I deliberately activated all 9 guas and energetic themes from Love & Relationships to Money and Career! That’s when my life circumstances suddenly and dramatically shifted. I was moved to go in a wholly unexpected and to be honest unplanned direction. The universe delivered a perfect storm for a dramatic move closer to family!
First my mom passed away, then my brother fell ill and then my father became erratic, frail and vulnerable. I left LA after 18 years under duress. My family needed me and my hand was forced. Duty called so I answered.
I moved a few miles from where I had endured my not so pleasant formative high school years. Close enough to family to be there for them while simultaneously being close enough to Laguna Beach to have access to a woo community.
I should mention that when you make shifts in your environment especially drastic ones, the universe will respond with massive changes that don’t necessarily present themselves in an expected or even desirable manner. Not to fret because God works in mysterious ways. God or the Universe will get your attention one way or another. It helps to cultivate trust in the universe and take a wait and see approach to seemingly undesirable circumstances. Just know there’s a bigger picture and outcome you can’t yet see waiting for you. A blessing in disguise is behind every obstacle. The obstacle is actually the path. It helps to have a guide to walk you through the twists and turns. An energetic midwife.
I can personally speak to the positive upswings in my career and social life which once I Feng Shui’d my new home began to unfold. Yet again however I experienced another tower moment with a break up. The relationship kept me tethered to LA in a way that no longer served me. I had to let go of my old life in its entirety to make space for my new one. I understand and can help others navigate this journey. I was not necessarily happy or comfortable when my tower moment came and I struggled with letting go but it was exactly what I needed. It allowed me to become fully present to my current environment.
I understand and appreciate the journey of ascension such that I can help others navigate it. Ultimately the changes are for our highest good. I think it’s important to recognize and point out that change even good change requires some sacrifice and a period of uncertainty and discomfort. Your big reveal is always worth it though.
When you shift your energy with Feng Shui, the universe delivers. Change can appear as undesirable on the face of it but trust and believe there is a higher plan and vision at play. You can make swift, strategic decisions and take actions utilizing FENG SHUI as a guide. That’s my medicine and my magic. I had a strategy that helped ground me in the midst of what felt like chaos and now I am here to help others navigate a reality reset!
Moving is a major life change. It’s going from the known into the unknown. There’s a million decisions and details that need to be attended to. There’s a huge emotional component. Even in the best of circumstances, it’s one of the most stressful, physically demanding and chaotic times of your life. It can feel destabilizing. If you move somewhere where you don’t know a lot of people, it can also be a very lonely time when you actually need support the most. That was certainly my experience. I felt vulnerable and alone. I know that journey intimately and have the tools to help others step into their highest timeline.
Moving is a time when FENG SHUI is a strategy that supports, protects and elevates you. It provides actionable, solutions, and even divine intervention. We all need a soft place to land and a guide into our highest timeline in this wild crazy world!
In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, “shelter” comes in fourth place just before “breathing”. It’s freaking important and necessary to our survival. I see my work as playing a midwifery role in the birthing of a new home. It’s what I live for.

I want to leave you with one big takeaway where it comes to moving. When selecting a new space look for a floor plan that is a complete square or rectangle. Try avoid unusual or L shaped floor plans because that is an indication that one of the nine power centers in the home is missing.
