WEDNESDAYS: The Donald Drumpf Theatre radio show (audio above, text below.)
Donald Drumpf Theatre 305: “Enter a Distorted Reality” The new/old president sloses hair and catches sleep this week on the “Donald Drumpf Theatre” radio show. Opening theme includes clips from Rod Serling; Bill Cosby; Donald Drumpf; and Jon Stewart and “The Daily Show.” Thanks for the songs for this week's episode from Golden Earring (“Twilight Zone”), Stephen Bluhm (“Emotional Plea”), The Beatles (“Getting Better”), and South Park (“Blame Canada”). Thanks for the clips and excerpts from John Oliver; J.L. Cauvin; Jimmy Kimmel; Anderson Cooper; Wolf Blitzer; Chris Jansing; and others.
"Donald Drumpf Theatre" is the weekly radio theatre show about a fictional presidency, with parody radio coverage of the radio and its headlines. Now with computerized news readers, and fewer meddling reporters, plus aggregated reporting, and automated music. It is often a mash-up of the week's news, and sometimes a radio news fantasy with song parodies and covers all mixed in a style similar to Spike Jones, Dickie Goodman, Dr. Demento, or Richard Foreman with comedy skits, sketches, radio waves, and multiple points-of-view. Produced by Tom Roe. Make sense of the unreality here. Get discombobulated. Clips and songs are from some of the sources below.
All non-commercial radio stations have permission to air “Donald Drumpf Theatre” except WGXC, which must return my personal belongings before they can air another episode.
