Are you exhausted from battles that never seem to end—spiritual, emotional, or physical?
Hear this clearly: unrelenting warfare is not God’s will. He Makes Wars to Cease!
“He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;he burns the chariots with fire.Be still, and know that I am God.”(Psalm 46:9–10)
God never intended for you to live in constant reaction—always putting out fires. That’s survival mode, not Kingdom life.
His will is to silence the enemy so you can give yourself fully to your calling.
Jehoshaphat’s Example
Look at Jehoshaphat.
When he set his heart to seek the Lord, “the fear of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms… and they made no war against Jehoshaphat” (2 Chron. 17:10).
Later, when enemies rose up, God fought for Judah.“So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest all around” (2 Chron. 20:29–30).
Jehoshaphat didn’t waste his reign fighting endless battles. He ruled. He built. He fulfilled his purpose.
That’s what God wants for you too.
