In episode #123, Andy talks to his friend Andria Wilson, LPC about mental health, trauma, and the church. Andria has worked hard to cultivate curiosity about her story of trauma and asks others to do the same. She wants to give people a voice and teach people how to be resilient. She gives great insight during the interview about faith, mental health, and trauma.



About Andria


My own story has cultivated curiosity and passion centered around the resiliency of the human person: mind-body-spirit. This awareness guides my approach within the field of trauma therapy, resiliency, and post-traumatic growth.

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Professional Counselor and Mental Health Specialist Provider (LPC/MHSP #4456) with a Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Memphis. I am a Certified Experiential Therapist (CET-1 #1058) and utilize the expressive arts as part of my practice. Additionally, I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in Speech Communication & Theater Arts and was trained in professional performance from the American Musical Dramatic Academy, New York City/Los Angeles.
